A look Into The life of Larry, The Downing Street pet
Prime Minister David Cameron has been chatting with Radio 2 about how Larry the cat has captured three mice since moving into Number 10 in February.
Larry, the four year old cat was adopted through the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home following a rat spotted in Downing Street, and is the first cat to reside at the PM’s address in fourteen years.
He has so far manage to catch three mice and is “doing well” as reported by the PM.
Mr Cameron also revealed that Larry is tense around men, but was happy to be stroked by the US President. “Funnily enough he liked Obama”, he shared with the BBC.
